Owners of Specialty cakes Carol and Shirley have always been fascinated by baking and decorating cakes so decided to set up the business after demand grew.
Speciality Cakes is based at St Hilda's Business Centre in Whitby, which offers FREE parking to give you plenty of time to have a look round there fantastic show room. We like to meet and greet people as talking to them helps us find exactly what the customer requires, while they can also take a look through pictures drawings and designs so we can create the cake to there exact requirement. We like to pride ourselves on highly personal service. Speciality cakes offers a wide range from your everyday cake right up to the extreme, each and every cake we make is an individual work of art which will designed, baked and decorated by us especially for you!
Speciality Cakes can supply for every occasions from Engagements, Weddings, Anniversaries, Christening, Birthday and Christmas and for other events where that special cakes are needed. All our cakes are baked using only the finest ingredients. We can supply cakes made from moist sherry fruitcake, your favourite sponge cake flavour, chocolate cake and carrot cake. Our takes are available in many shapes and sizes, from fairy-tale castles to individual cup cakes, we can also do wonky cakes and suitcase's We do fantastic cakes which not only look fantastic and tastes fantastic!
We provide ourselves in making the cake YOU want and no design is to difficult for us!
The majority of our cakes decorations are handmade and hand painted by us.
You can collect your cakes the day before your event or we offer FREE delivery within a 5 mile radius of Whitby and will be more than happy to set the cakes up at your venue, one less thing for you to worry about.
We also offer a hire service for our cakes stands, We can also supply cakes, tray bakes, caramel shortbread and scones for parties and also to the restaurant and cafe trade. All our cakes are competitively priced with each celebration cake been individually priced and we will happily give you a quotation.
